Cold storages are designed and built in different types. In general, it can be said that cold storages are divided into two groups: sub-zero and above-zero, each of which has its own characteristics and uses.

The storage temperature in the subzero cold storage depends on the type of product because each product needs its own temperature for storage. Even sometimes, to store some products, the temperature of these cold stores needs to reach below 30 or 40 degrees Celsius. But the common temperature of this type of cold storage is -18 degrees Celsius. In any case, all the materials stored in the sub-zero freezer are frozen.

These refrigerators are made in three forms, mobile or portable, connection and fixed (room or large industrial warehouses) based on the conditions and application. In general, the components of these cold storages include; compressor (refrigerator engine), evaporator, tanks, electronic system, valves and control tools, condenser and refrigerant. In this type of cold storage, it is very important to design and build standard and suitable doors to manage and reduce energy consumption.
